Our school

Surf Amsterdam is the first wakesurf club in the Netherlands created by a professional wakesurfer - we offer the best wake and an opportunity to improve your skills for anyone, from beginner to experienced rider. We speak Dutch, English, German, Russian, French and Spanish.

Meet the Team

Surf Amsterdam is created by Katia and JD who share a passion for water sports in general and wakesurfing in particular. They are committed to offer the best wakesurfing experience in Amsterdam and grow this amazing sport together. Read more about our founders below or book a session and experience the best wakesurfing available.

Boat pilot/instructor

Katia

Katia started wakesurfing in 2018, first participated in competition in 2019 and is currently ranked 4th in the World by CWSA (Competitive WakeSurf Association). Next to operating the school she is frequently training herself.

Boat pilot/ deck hand

JD started wakesurfing in 2019 and has been improving ever since. Huge passion about board and water sports including wakesurfing, sailing, scuba diving, snowboarding and more!
